The Val Show at the Comedy Chateau 2021
STAND-UP COMEDY
Discovered at her first open mic and having booked her first gig in just a month, Valerie is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to stand-up comedy. She started producing “The Val Show” in her fifth month in Los Angeles, and she and her team have been touring the greater Los Angeles area for a few years already, wherein they’ve had numerous sold-out shows. Aside from “The Val Show,” Valerie has performed for festivals, comedy clubs, private events, etc. She has opened for Rex Navarette at the 2023 Long Beach Filipino Festival, a fundraiser to help build another Filipino Town in Long Beach, California. She was also invited to do her stand-up at the 2024 LA Lantern Expo in California, the biggest lantern festival in the USA.
THE VAL SHOW
The Val Show used to be one of the best selling sold-out shows after COVID in the LA area. Currently, as of January 2026, after a few years of hiatus, The Val Show is an open mic at the Tribal Cafe, happening every other week, Wednesdays, from 4-6pm. There are plans in bringing the show back to the clubs and there are plans of expansion currently. However, all of those are in the works.
